The Comedy Arts Theater of Charlotte and the Southern Songwriters Association unite for a night of improvised comedy inspired by original music.
Join us for a night when two groups of local artists come together for a night of entertainment. Three local songwriters (Steve Simpson, Allen Hayes, and Judah Jones) have written original songs based on prompts they were given. Improvisers from CATCh have no idea what those prompts are or what the songs will be. How exciting!!
On September 30th, come on out and see what happens when improvisers hear these songs for the first time and find a way to use them as inspiration for their performance!

Southern Songwriters Association is a group dedicated to songwriting and a space supporting the creativity and events of its active local members. You can find SSA members in weekly zoom meetings, in song circles, and on stages all over the Charlotte area and beyond.
